- AAC ID card so your dog can be measured. You'll need to order this a couple of months beforehand. You cannot enter a trial without one.
- Tent or tarps to create shade and to block the rain and wind
- Crate or x-pen for your dog
- A tarp to put underneath your dog's X-Pen if the ground is wet
- Blankets or a comfy dog cushion so your athlete can rest in comfort
- Crate or x-pen fan (you can get them at pet stores. They are battery operated and you can attach them to the side of your crate/x-pen to help cool off your athlete
- Extra set of batteries for your fan
- Extra sheets or blankets to put around your crate/x-pen if your dog is anxious in a confined space. They will block distractions and your dog will rest better if he/she can't see all the excitement. You can also use one of those extra blanket to put on top of your bed in the hotel room is your dog sheds a lot
- Bungee cords to hold tarps, reflective blankets, etc.
- Your motivator (tug toy, special food, treats, etc)
- Your dog's collar,harness, leash
- Food and water bowls (You may want to have a special water bowl for the crate or x-pen. You can buy a stainless steel bucket or bowl with a clip on it to attach it to the crate/x-pen so your dog won't spill it inside)
- One towel for each dog (in case it rains and you have to dry your dog)
- Dog food (Bring a few extra portions. You never know if you'll get delayed somewhere with a hungry pooch!)
- Food, water and snacks(it's a long day and you may not have the time to go out to get food between races. But many trials have food on site)
- Poop bags (always have one with you, in the car, in the hotel, in your treat pouch, etc.)
- Camera and film (you never know when your dog will do the cutest thing!)
- Your prescriptions drugs
- First aid kit for you AND your dog
- Folding chair
- Your club's uniform, shirt, jacket, etc
- A small cooler to keep your food or some treats in the cold
- Proof of rabies vaccination for your dog if you go across the border
- Your dog's seatbelt if you use one in the car
- Clothes for all temperature (hot summer day, rainy day, cold day, etc)
- Extra pairs of sock (nice to change them if you get wet feet in the rain!)
- Sunglasses
- Sunblock
- Insect repellant

If there is not a crating area inside the tournament venue, you'll need to be prepared for crating outside so…

Of course, someone from your team has to bring the flyball box and the tennis balls. It's also a good idea to have a few tools and extra parts on hand in case the box malfunctions.
